Today, all FA representatives have to complete the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training requirements stated in Notice No. FAA-N13.

Since 2016, we have been accredited by Singapore College of Insurance (SCI) as a FA-CPD Training Provider for Ethics, Rules and Regulations. You can find more information here.

Financial Advisory Ethics (2 CPD hours)

We have designed this course to bring about the importance of ethical behaviour for your candidates. This module provides an introduction to the ethics relevant to the financial services industry. We will also discuss the state of trust within the industry.

At the end of this module, your candidates will be able to identify the ethics relevant to the business of providing financial advice. We will also ensure that they understand the importance of trust in the financial services industry. This lecture style presentation also includes videos to enable your candidates understand the reasons behind unethical behaviour.

Your candidates will be required to complete a quiz at the end of the training. The training hours will only be awarded to participants who have passed the assessment.

Lessons from the Past: Financial Advisory Rules and Regulations (4 CPD hours)

We have designed this module to provide a review of the rules and regulations relevant to the financial services industry. We will explore the rationale for the Financial Advisers Act and the reasons for various rules and regulations. During the presentation we will also take alook at the latest updates made to the Financial Advisers Act.

At the end of this module, your candidates will be able to understand the need for the Financial Advisers Act. They will also learn of the trends and developments of the relevant laws and regulations relating to the financial advisory services. We will also highlight the changes to the Financial Advisers Act due to the failure of structured products and identify the changes due to the Financial Advisory Industry Review.

Your candidates will be required to complete a quiz at the end of the training. The training hours will only be awarded to participants who have passed the assessment.
